LISA SCHOFIELD

I have had the pleasure of being on the staff at FCCNS since 2010 when I started out as a substitute teacher.  As the years went on, my role grew from being a part time teacher to my current position as one of the full time 5 day 4s teachers.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Education from Manhattan College and earned my Masters in Early Childhood a few years later from the College of New Rochelle.  I have been married to my husband, Barry, since 1994.  In 2003, we moved to Darien and raised our three children here.  All three, now young adults, attended Darien schools have grown up and are pursuing careers in New York City.  I am an active member and volunteer at St. Thomas More Church, here in Darien and have taught Religious Education since 2009.  When I’m not in school, I like to take my dog, Lucie, on long walks. I love to read and relax at the beach!

 

I love being a part of the FCCNS community! No matter if you are a teacher, a parent, or a student, everyone is kind, caring, and always looking out for one another. That makes FCCNS a very special place and one I am truly grateful to be a part of!
